From its early years redeveloping urban Boston historic buildings into luxury residences and high quality offices, The Abbey Group has evolved into a prominent force in real estate and resort development.
The Abbey Group has developed over 100 buildings used for commercial, retail, residential, and parking uses.
The hallmark of an Abbey Group property is appropriate design for appropriate uses. An Abbey Group building is well
constructed using the highest quality materials for long-term value and designed to fit into its environment and to serve
the needs of its users.
Recent Abbey Group developments include 45 PROVINCE, a high rise, full service, luxury condominium at the
foot of Beacon Hill (pictured above) and the rebranded Lafayette City Center in downtown Boston. The award winning Landmark Center in Fenway, with over 1.5 million square feet
of mixed use, is widely credited with being the catalyst for the resurgence of the Fenway area.
To further benefit from the revitalization of the Fenway, The Abbey Group developed the 133 unit Landmark Square
apartments with its richly articulated facade, courtyard gardens and underground parking. Presently, The Viridian, with 322 contemporary apartments, is under construction and slated to open in the Fenway in April 2015.
The Abbey Group is a co-owner and a managing partner of the 2008 World Champion and 2010 Eastern
Conference Champion Boston Celtics and a supporter of cultural institutions and social service agencies throughout the city.
